Today, “Long Covid” is a common term according to all medical professionals. This term was born in light of the direct impression of competent authorities who treated those affected by the coronavirus pandemic and those around them. In fact, even if a person or a family member did not contract the coronavirus, this does not mean that they are exempt from the symptoms of the damage, known today in the professional term “Long Covid”.
Therapists say that workers who started working from home, or mostly from home, began to develop depression, and general and social anxiety, mainly following the collapse of social life. Sometimes employees found themselves doing actions only out of the need for a human encounter, or longing for human touch, even through a deliberate search for casual sex, for all its emotional and health hazards. Thus, workers found themselves in a a cycle of self-loathing which quickly turned into self-hatred, for no good reason.
At “Na(r)gish” we invite every person, whether they work from home or not, to see the impact of the coronavirus pandemic as a door through which to enter, to also address problems that existed before, in order to improve the quality of life of workers and the quality of life of those around them and depend on them. We are aware that a person is a social creature who will always strive to connect with others, even if they feel, unjustly, as worthless or that they have been forced to work from home. We also know that the pandemic has severely damaged the sense of value and usefulness of many.
